After waiting 3 weeks for pet scan, lots of telephone calls and chasing I go tonight for pet scan. I asked if the report would be ready for MDT meeting on Friday morning but was told that is a tight turnaround. So will wait to see what happens next, I am no further forward, but at least things are moving even if slowly.

I don't blame you for being frustrated. You are in a critical state and you know enough to want to get started on treatment right away, whatever it might be.
It is a shame they claim the results take so long, but maybe they will not. Fingers crossed you get the results in time for the MDT and that you get the thoughtful care you need.

Ask the sonogragher when you go Ellsey. Explain about the MTD meeting. It is tight, but the report may be able to be done in time. Lxx

Wishing you the best for the result of the scan, it can be very frustrating having to chase up stuff. Ring your Onc secretary tomorrow and remind her the results are outstanding and her boss might have a look at them for you,
