In 6 and a half weeks my special person will be 3 😊. 3 years we thought we wouldn’t see and she’s done so much in that time I’m very proud of her! Yeah she’s reoccurred twice since diagnosis but has come through the other side each time 😊. It’s been a rollercoaster 🎢 of a time ups and downs as life has but the biggest thing she has learned is to live for the day and not wallow on everybody else’s s**t in her life. Her priorities are the same as ever, her grandchildren that keeps her going. She makes little goals each month and keeps happy when she’s ticked them off her list ❤️❤️❤️ Her current goal is freshen up her home 🏡. She’s watched her oldest granddaughter start secondary school and her youngest grandson start nursery. She’s gonna be 60 this year so whether she likes it or not she’s celebrating BIG no matter what 😂 (she won’t like it)!!! I’m gonna make her set a goal to have a few days away too so she can chill out and have a change of scenery as it’s good for everyone to have the break!!

Xxx

Hi Callmemum,

Congratulation to your special person she is indeed special and how wonderful she has been able to see the her grandchildren start secondary and nursery, I think we all appreciate those times in our families life's and more so when you thought you might not.

You have been so supportive of her I'm sure this has helped her in the difficult times we all need that someone.

When she turns 60 give her that BIG Party🎆🎇🎈🎁✨🎈🎈 and when she turn 70 and 80 maybe I should stop at 80.

I do wish you both many more years...take care Lorraine xx

She’s done brilliantly and three is such an important age for her and us all, long may this continue.

60 is a big birthday, I wasn’t sure I’d reach mine either but I had it 11 days after my last chemo, I felt rubbish but I got there and am now a happy and daft 63.

It’s great she has her goals and I hope she sets many more and achieves them all. We should all live for the day, we can’t do any more than that. One of the lovely ladies on here had ‘carpe diem’ tattooed on her (hand I think), it just about sums it all up for many of us.

You could perhaps arrange a nice weekend away for her for her 60th as a gift from all the family and friends?

Take lots of care ❤️Xx Jane

Congratulations to your special person, having grandchildren help you set goals I dx when our youngest grandson was 4 months old, we share the same birthday and was able to celebrate his second birthday last November together.

Your special person should celebrate her 60th as since dx I think every birthday is a milestone to celebrate, I will be celebrating my big 60 this year together with my grandson who will be three.

Hugs to your special one and you.

Ellsey xx

Wow! That’s great news. Your special person has come such a long way in that time. I hope she gets spoilt rotten for her 60th birthday.

That’s,lovely to hear from you as such a supportive person. I was 60 last year and get such joy from my grandkids and everything I do and yes, I don’t get dragged down from other people’s s..t either.

Sounds wonderful planning a celebration and long may your special persons health continue,

Big love to your special 3 year old. I know how much you mean to each other. I'm marching on to 70 in December no matter what. Nothing's gonna stop me because there's no way I'm having a sex position stamped on my gravestone....xxx
