Kidney problems

I have had stents in my kidney for 4 years they are changed every year in constant pain all the time worse when I go to the toilet can't stop weeing got up 7 times last night blood on toilet paper when I wipe myself irons a terrible colour had it tested a several times and was told it came back from hospital clear can anyone help

I too have kidney stents I have had them in for 2 and half years. They were so painful at first that some days they were unbearable . I cannot have them removed as there is a lot of damage to my insides from the cancer .I posted several times but couldn’t find anyone on line who had the same. At first they were plastic and changed every three months last year they inserted metal ones which last for a year so due to be changed in Feb. I know exactly how you feel they are very unpleasant but we have to think without them we would be in trouble . Some days are worse than others

I am so sorry about your kidney stents. I have had them for a year now. This ovarian cancer has obstructed my kidney and caused me some pain from the stents. I just had a change and for a few days my pain has been more than mild. Please let us know how you have got on as it is quite common for this Cancer to obstruct the kidney. Please keep posting.
