Hello

Sorry to hear you are worried. If you think you might have the symptoms of OC then please please go to your Doctor and ask for a CA125 test. You probably won’t have it but my one regret was not going to my Doctor sooner.

Bloating weeing more and feeling full very quickly are the symptoms identified by OC organisations- they can be vague.

Very best of luck! Lx

Lyndy, don't feel too bad about not going sooner. I went. I saw multiple doctors. None of them ordered CA125 or a CAT scan. There's no guarantee that if you went sooner that this disease would have been spotted. I went. I was dismissed.

Absolutely you must ask for ultrasound and ct scan and the ca125 blood test.

Your symptoms of bloating, nauseated, pain, bleeding are some of the first signs of this disease and sometimes it can just be the bloating which indicates that you have fluid.

Get checked out asap.

Best of luck

Ellakos, I don't know where you live but get yourself to a gynecological oncologist immediately. Regular GP's and Gynecologists aren't looking for OVCA. (I went to 5 doctors, none of whom ordered a CAT scan or CA 125 level, all of whom pronounced me fine!!!! You can read my profile for details.) Your symptoms are serious. Ask for CA125 blood test and get CAT and/or PET scans. Ultrasound does not catch Ovarian Cancer. Transvaginal ultrasound also cannot detect OVCA. Colonoscopy, endoscopy and cystoscopy (looking into your bladder with camera) do NOT pick up the most common type of OVCA which is Serous Epithelial. Epithelial does NOT infiltrate organs until late stage, when it's too late!!! So, go now and let us know how it goes. All the very best to you.

My mom was 52 when they diagnosed her with stagd 3 endometrial. She bleed heavy for some months and they told her due to a fibroid she should wait for menopause and bleeding should subside. She was bleeding through pads by the hour until she sought a second oppinion and finally diagnosed with cancer. Your symptoms are same as she had experinced. Please do not wait seek medical advice from oncologist gynocologist as with cancer we have learned you can not waste time and ths ealier it is caught is so important. Ct scan and pet scans also ca125 blood test should be done.

Take care

Definitely go to your GP and ask for tests mentioned by others.

Do not take no for an answer and mention OC to GP.

These symptoms are not normal and have to be investigated.

Take care and I wish you all the best x

Hi there

I just want to echo what everyone else has advised as the symptoms you describe can be associated with Ovarian Cancer. My friend had the brown staining too and she was diagnosed with endometrial cancer. By the way a smear test is only a test for Cervical cancer and will not pick up Ovarian or Endometrial cancer. Many women make that mistake and therefore ignore those other symptoms. You need to be referred to a gynae oncologist. Good luck and I hope there is nothing to worry about . Take care
