Welcome to this site.

None of us on this site can answer that question.

It sounds as if she has acted on her concerns to gather the information you outline above. This is a very good start.

There can be different reasons for symptoms. Generally the approach taken is to do tests to get clearer about what is going on in. And then to decide a treatment plan. Nobody knows the baseline CA125 for individuals as it tends only to be tested when something is going on. It's only slightly raised (and hers may always have been high). It can be raised for a number of reasons.

Does she have further tests planned? Has a course of action been proposed? Does she have a good relationship with her doctor?

This is a site for women (and their others) who have ovarian cancer. But women with symptoms which turn out to be down to some other reason also come on here. I hope this will turn out to be the case for your wife.

And we have a fair few men taking an active part, as you are, in supporting their wife.

Waiting to find out what's going on - or why it is - is just about the worst thing there is.

So, sending you strength during this time.

Hi and welcome, firstly thank you for the support you give to your wife, it’s important to us all that we have support.

I would say that If she’s bleeding from her navel that you should seek some professional advice although you don’t say if it’s light spotting or a real bleed.

We can't give you an answer as to whether she has cancer but as you’ve already had some tests done there is possibly already an underlying issue but her CA125 isn’t excessively high and like Mac27 has said it could just be her normal level. There are so many different reasons for a raised CA125 and many of them are not cancer related.

I truly hope she doesn’t have cancer but you do need to know why she is having difficulties. I would suggest staying away from Dr Google though as many symptoms there can be multi disciplinary and therefore misleading and in some cases totally bogus.

Keep up the wonderful support you are giving her and let us know how you get on. I hope she feels a little better very soon. ❤️Xx Jane
