My ct scan has been good but ca125 still raised. My onc says don't worry about ca125 as long as you're feeling ok! We still worry though don't we?!

Hi Rosebud12. Doctors have told me in the past that the CA125 level isn't always a good indicator of what is happening with ovarian cancer, so I shouldn't worry about it. However I know from personal experience that it correlates well with what is happening with my cancer. When I am having a relapse, it's very high and vice versa. eg in September I was having a relapse of ovarian cancer symptoms (tiredness, big stomach, acid reflux etc) and the CA125 was over 1000. After a few weeks of chemo, I felt much better and was able to resume a normal life. The CA125 was down to about 200 and continued to fall with further treatment, but it's never been below 50 in the last 2 years even when I have been feeling quite well. So to answer your question, I can feel quite well with a raised CA125. I believe the normal upper limit is 30, but I haven't been in the normal range for 3 years. Hope this helps. Caroline_W
