I was put on Topotecan as fith line treatment. Unfortunately for me I could not cope with the proper dosage as it was too hard on my bone marrow and so had to keep missing treatments so as a result I was taken off it but I do think it had started to have some effect but my oncy decided against it however if you are able to take it properly I am sure you will have a good result.

Good Luck

Thanks for responding.

This would be my 6th line. I haven't started yet. Am waiting for a CT scan on 8/19 first. Did have concerns about the Topotecan as was on Gemzar for 3rd line and it greatly affected my platelet counts to the point of being sent to the hospital for infusions. May I asked what you were placed on when unable to tolerate the Topotecan?

Much Appreciated.
