Try taking vitamin b my son in law gets really bad ulcers and his dr. told him to take it. never gets them now only if he forgets to take it. Is your mouthwash given to you by the hospital? mine is and it works.

There is a mouthwash you can get on prescription from the dentist that is usually very effective, I have read. I am sorry, I don't have the name of it. Best, Vx

I too suffered with bad mouth ulcers for 1st and 2Nd cycles of carbo/taxol. .my oncologist prescribed avmouthwash for 3rd cycle, chemo dose was reduced as I also had bad none pains and more mouth ulcers after that. They are awful things so I do empathise with you. Wishing you all the best. Ann xo

Try drinking Earle Grey tea. It has bergamot in it. My husband gets bad mouthulcers but if he sticks to the tea they don't happen.

Hi Charlee, I have mouth ulcers too, gargling frequently during the day definitely helps, ive tried salt and water, diluted TCP, and corsodyl mouthwash, and they all ease the discomfort.

However in the evening a shot glass of neat vodka with an ice cube works (and it tastes better than mouthwash too!)
