Diagnosed with PPC and will shortly finish my 9 weeks treatment. Been drained of ascites 5 times when will the ascites start reducing?

I assume from your post that after your nine week treatment then you will have surgery, you will be drained of ascites then, and it will be tested, if you haven't got surgery planned then I am mystified why you stop at nine weeks (or I might have got this wrong) and if you are continuing treatment and you just mean that this is the halfway mark then I think that each chemo helps to reduce the ascites (but I am not sure about this).
You could ring the ovacome nurse led helpline tel 0845 371 0554 or 0207 299 6650
They are very good in giving advice... best wishes love x G x
