Hi Julie.

Yes I have. I weigh the same but it's all around my middle. I did put on 3lb per chemo round. Which I can't seem to shift, not complaining as I know some are unable to eat. My CNS just said to buy bigger clothes and I realise this is the voice of reason.

It's not unusual for woman with OC to gain weight post treatment xx

Thank's Diane , yes well I think the same ,I haven't lost my appetite. I do seem to remember the onc telling me it's quite hard to loose the weight after chemo . Will just stick to a bigger size .😕xx

Hi Juilette- i also belong to the bigger tummy club. I weigh the same as pre chemo but my stomach is bulging now. i have always had a flat tummy but no more. In my case I think that when they took out my omentum that changed everything. I call it my control top pantyhose. That used to keep the bulges away. Now every gas pocket or if I am constipate everything shows. It drives me insane!!!!! I don't want to buy bigger clothes :(

I guess we have to get used to it. At least we are all alive and have each other. Women have a harder time getting older.

Hugs, Carol

Thanks carol , it seems like it's part of the treatment. Yes I agree us women have a harder time of it growing older . I look about ninety , but like you say we are still here. Going to see my oncologist on Monday so dreading that .big hugs Julie xx

I also have more than I'd like around my middle since finishing chemo. My stomach is also much bigger at the end of the day than at the start. I'm trying to lose some of the weight I gained during treatment but my stomach is as big as ever. Perhaps my omentum was doing more work than I had realised. Still I'm happier with a bigger tum than cancer!

Hi Juliette

I am also part of this club! Before OC in 2015 I had a completely flat tummy- even after the birth of both my children I returned to a flat stomach in a relatively short period of time - but I now feel I look 5 months pregnant at time3, but this is all part of of my new "normal"!

Have a nice weekend!
