Hi all, OvaCare will be holding it's next Patient Day in Dublin on Sat 7th November at the Aisling Hotel. We have a great line up of speakers which will include a specialist in Genetics who will address the genetic links often found in ovarian cancer. Also, we look forward to hearing from a Medical Social Worker on the practicalities of dealing with the financial impact of a cancer diagnosis. The topic of 'Food & Mood' will also be covered with regard to the role diet plays in boosting your mood!
This should give you a flavour of the day but of course, as always, these events are foremost an opportunity for you to meet other women with ovarian cancer and realise that you are not alone. Family members are also encouraged to attend with you and this year, as well as patient stories, we will hear from a family member's perspective on coming to terms with ovarian cancer.
