I would like to thank Ovacare for the wonderful coffee morning in Cork.It was a a great morning to put faces to names and have a chat and laugh.

I would also like to thank Ovacare and June for organising this morning, my tummy is full from pain au chocolat. It was great to make new friends and meet up with everyone one else once more. It is also good to see we are all in good form and making the best of life. It was lovely meeting another Joan and you Anne, It is great to have somewhere to catch up because we cant do this in a hospital setting. I have to say that I was shocked at the length of time you can be kept waiting in CUH on Chemo Day. I noticed a lady has a petition on facebook if any of you have seen it. Her Mum passed three days after diagnosis at Xmas. So in her honour she has organised this petition to the Minister for Health to provide screening for Ovarian Cancer for every woman. I actually found her face book page and I messaged her and told her about Ovacare and SOCK. I now cant remember her name for the life of me, great help but I will post it I know the petition is under Change, Org and ladies surname is Smyth but I will tell ye the correct name in the next day or so. The rain came down, dreadful as usual, our lovely summer and Yes Maureen I will definitely sort out a week somewhere in the sun, I am going to get meldew if this continues

Sorry ladies, I had to check my details for that lady, chemo brain is bad must be the rain. Her name is Barbara Smyth Local and Vocal

Yes everyone....Another great coffee morning. ! Lovely to see everyone and meet some new faces. Thank you to June for organising and everyone else for attending, sharing and for your company. X

Hello. Like all you Annie and all the other ladies, it is great to have such an open, safe and warm environment to meet and talk so openly about our thoughts, fears, distressing thoughts (if any) and of course lots of laughs.

So like the others - a very warm and heartfelt thank you to all at OvaCare.
