I understand REMS scans are new to America but was hoping it would be available a bit closer to me. I'm in Rhode Island and the nearest provider is in New Jersey. That's a 4.5 hour drive for me one way and just can't do it. I had the Dexa scan and the numbers frightened me. Did some research and found the REMS scan to be superior to Dexa. Why isn't it more accessible to the general public?

Hi, I asked my Endocrinologist to refer me for a REMS & my doc had never heard of it. I couldn’t believe it. I checked with Mayo Clinic, at least they’ve heard of it. I’m in AZ.
The best to you
Thanks, I checked it out and can't do it financially (senior living on SS). But thank you for the suggestion, I appreciate it.
