Hi everyone,

All of us on this forum are focused on preventing and avoiding fractures. Unfortunately, broken bones will occur, and when that happens, it's up to you to make the best of your recovery process. Most important, you need to avoid having any more fractures!

There are four major steps in your recovery process:

- Focus on healing

- Follow-up appointments to assess your function and bone health

- Create your bone health plan

- Build strength and get moving again

Here is a very informative article from our website called "I've Had a Fracture, Now What." It takes you through the steps above -- from injury to getting moving again. There's also a link where you can download a PDF of the publication.

Please share this with someone who needs it!
