Paclitaxel and going away for a few days

We hope to be away for 3 nights over Christmas but 2 of those days will be when my husband would normally have his blood test and weekly paclitaxel infusion (actually due on Christmas Day!). Does anyone know if hospitals can offer alternative days for the weekly infusion or would it just be missed? We live in Newcastle and would be going to Plymouth for Christmas. Do you think my husband would be able to have his paclitaxel infusion at the hospital in Plymouth instead of the usual Newcastle hospital? If he gets a PICC line put in could he be given the paclitaxel solution to use when away? Just trying to continue having some sort of normality in our lives …
