I have been having acute Gut Inflammations due to Gastritis (as diagnosed by doctor). Have been prescribe with varies PPIs but unsuccessful in reducing my symptoms.
Today my Doctor have prescribed Vonoprazan for 2 weeks. Anyone have tried this PCAB and any reviews to share. Thank you…

Hi, I too have Gastritis but PPI's don't help, neither does Famotidine. I have not heard of this new drug but it sounds promising. Please can you let me know how you get on with it and if it helps your Gastritis, as I may ask my GP if I can try it for my symptoms. Hope it works well for you. Regards.
I too have just started day 2 of initial 14 days prescription. Yes, from available articles, it looks promising. Reason of asking reviews from those who have or being using Vonoprazen before since launch ed from 2015…
Could I please ask what symptoms of gut inflammation were? I have gastritis but am struggling more....and my discomfort is widespread, worse if I sit (as in at table). Thank you
Actually gut inflammation is part of Gastritis. For me, I have continuance intense ‘burning’ sensation of my stomach and at the sternum area… this get worse in the evening and bedtime. I cannot even lay down on my back or sideway as the inflammation get worst. This badly affect my sleep as I cannot lay down…cold sweat and muscle spasm will join in creating congestion affecting my breathing too….i got to take Xanax to ‘knock’ myself out for sleep..which only a couple of hours daily…
