Hi I have a one year old little girl who used to sleep well, she used to be able to self soothe in her cot and sleep at least 6-7 hours. When she hit 11 months all she does is scream in her cot, will no longer self soothe and when she wakes in the night she will also be screaming and will not be put down again. This has been going on for 8 weeks now
Any advice or help is appreciated

What your describing is really common in this age group (not that it makes it any easier to manage,) but babies this age are going through huge developmental leaps. They may be consolidating their physical skills, such as pulling to stand, walking etc. Or language development, some babies will be playing with words at this point. They may also be experiencing separation anxiety and this is often worse at night. Does your little one still have any milk or water at night?
The other possibilities could be teething, the molars may be starting to erupt or move around in the gums and the pain can be felt worse on lying down.
It is important to be consistent in your approach. Some parents like to try something called the "disappearing chair" routine . It is worth bearing in mind, it can take several weeks to work and it can be tough going, getting up multiple times in the night. Please see: justonenorfolk.nhs.uk/searc... for more information.
