I want to ask about 6 weeks check. I call NHS near of me, they told me that they don’t do 6 weeks check, because of CoVid 19. Who can help me, because I’m new here, it’s first time being mom and I don’t know what to do ?

Xx

Hi

It is a difficult time at the moment and especially for new mothers, lots of questions and unknowns.

Have you gone on to our JustOneNorfolk website (NHS) yet?

This has lots of useful, practical guidance and advice for new parents all about your own well being and your babies.

Lots of videos and animations to watch - real parents sharing their own experiences, ideas and Tips.

There is also the Just One Norfolk Parentline (NHS) - texting service for parents with clinicians at the end o the line to answer any questions or concerns you may have - Parentline 07520 631590

Here are some easy links to some areas of the website may be of use to you:

Hi they probably have had to scale down appointment. How is your little one ? When did they last come to you? Unless your worried about anything just carry on doing what your doing.

Is he's/she is feeding ok? Are the nappies wet most of the time?, How about babys bowl movements?

Are you trying to rest when baby does? How are you feeling?

There are health visitor on here too so they may send some information. But also if they are happy to not come it means your doing just fine. It can be scary being a first time mum.

Hello @bjb2513 ,

Please don't worry, there are still lots of ways you can get in touch with a member of the Healthy Child Programme.

Lots of great suggestions below.

You can still call Just One Number. There may be a short delay in someone getting back to you, but if you have any questions, please call and someone will be able to call you back and discuss your worries and address any concerns you have.

Kindest Regards,

Rachel
