Hi. My 5 month old has finally mastered rolling over both ways. Front to back and back to front. My baby sleeps in his cot in a sleeping bag. Quick question, is it safe to leave him sleeping on his tummy as I've heard it's ok as long as there's no lose items in the cot with I.e. toys, pillows, etc. (Which there isnt).
I don't wanna become paranoid and keep having to get up and turn him back over.
Any advise, much appreciated.

Great question, this is something we get asked a lot and you're right; once baby is rolling themselves, as long as there are no loose items, they will be able to roll themselves either back or into a safe position.

My health visitor said it was fine once they could roll and get back again. It’s scary when the start rolling as there were times when I looked at my kids and thought: how did you get over there!?!lol
Haha. Oh yes scary moments, then you get paranoid and constantly looking at camera to see position they are in lol. He rolled over this morning but he didn't roll back. He just slept for another 30mins lol
