My darling husband died last month at the age of 87, eleven years after his diagnosis. of oesophageal cancer. His chemo worked so well and he made a stunning recovery from the keyhole operation. So we had ten more years of love and fun before another cancer got him. This site was a great help to me then and has reminded me often how lucky we were.
