Top of stomach pain

Hi I’m 12 months post op Ivor Lewis been doing ok last week had a bit of pain and soreness inside think it’s where oesophagus joins stomach feels a little bit like reflux and when eating feels sore 🤷‍♀️ I had a barium meal 2 weeks ago and surgeon said I need a stretch in valve in stomach do you think this might be what causing pain and soreness now ?

It’s very possible the stretch will help your situation. I am 4 1/2 years post surgery. I have had 3 or 4 stretches in my first 3 years post surgery. My food was not passing fast enough so I was getting painful reflux, especially at night.

Here in the US they do it under anesthesia. So it is easy prep, easy and painless procedure with no pain after the procedure. One time they even injected the site with Botox.

I would go and get this done.
