Swallowing problem

Hi there

My wonderful man is still fighting but all sort of things are happening. Metastasised liver and it has been treated the first one with freezing out and two more cancer cells to get treated. Then we thought only to get over now he cannot swallow anything even spoonful water. Just suddenly after trying to eat a cake it stuck and brought by coughing then now nothing is going down. I wonder if it is to do the scaring or if he needs stretching ?

Thank you all sharing your stories and helping others to feel not so alone.

Really sorry to hear this, so upsetting and concerning and with the added upset of not having as easy an access to medical help during the festive season only adds to the stress.

Do you think medical input is required at this point if so please ask them for help that what our services are there for. Thinking of you both. Best wishes.

Hi there,Get back in touch with the team at hospital. Cake isn’t the best thing to eat, but because you said he can’t swallow water he needs urgent care.

Best Wishes

Debbie
