Green phlegm usually indicates a bacterial infection as far as I'm aware. Might need antibiotics for infection so would contact GP

Yes, I have had green and brown phlegm in the mornings - and for 7 years was diagnosed with bronchiectasis!?!?! Now, after all this time, they say my problems are "psychological" but no further explanation other than that I do not have bronchiectasis, when at last I was able to get a CT scan which revealed zero COPD. I am needless to say I am changing GPs next week. \ Although they know I have LPR, these GPs know nothing about it, and I am being treated for GERD. The so-called psychological problem is, the Consultant who diagnosed me as NOT HAVING COPD after I have been treated with corticosteroids for 8 years -- and that my problem is GLOBUS PHARANGEUS. I do not have a lump in my throat and told the Consultant and my GP, but the Consultant wrote to gp to suggested psychotherapy.During the pandemic it was difficult to change GPs but I have spoken with the GMC and also a local organisation to put in a complaint against this ineffective GP. Whilst realising that it is difficult to treat lpr - i should at least have the help of an ENT physician... I can't think of anything else I can do. Hopefully the next GP will be more capable.

I do take Lanzoprazole, and have for 8 years! But these have not helped at all. I am also now .taking Gaviscon Active. Other than going for an opinion for surgery, I am well and truly stuck.

I would be grateful for any suggestions.
