hi all well pete ended up back in hospital on Friday night as his feeding tube fell out so off to a&e we go they kept him in because it was 2 late to do anything then yesterday they say that they cannot put it back in as they don't do that operation on weekends so they was going to let him home but while he was waiting to be released his oxygen level whent low so they put him on oxygen they did xray and he has infection again yesterday night they was talking about draining his lungs because he has fluid on them we knew he had because he had while in hospital when he had operation i have lwft message for the consultant to let him know pete is back in hospital so he can get in touch with them and see whats going on they have done another covid test because pete has a cough but he had that anyway so now pete carnt keep food down that is why he was starting the tube feed at night so until they can put tube back in he just has to try eating the consultant told us on Thursday that he thinks pete needs his esophagus stretch so hopefully while hes in they will do that aswell

Oh Valerie, I'm so sorry to hear this, hopefully tho now Pete is in they will sort it all out for him. Its such a stressful time for you all, try to keep your chin up and look for the positives out of this situation, x

Oh no, hopefully they will get it sorted. I had a stretch that many people have. I had mine done after 3 1/2 weeks done by endoscopy and i had Botox injected in. Then things started to work properly. I hope they get the infection under control.

yes his sergen said last week he could do a stretch but at the minute with covid they arnt doing that kind of operation and hopefully they will get the infection sorted out and get him home to me x

Oh so sorry to hear all of this , what a roller coaster for Pete and of course you😩 I hope they can really sort out his problems this time. Although there are covid risks , he really does need to be in hospital . It’s a huge responsibility & worry for you at home , to be dealing with it all. All the best wishes that he can be settled & sorted ASAP . Stay strong. 😘

Oh he is having a rocky ride at the moment. I hope all goes well and they can sort him out. Big hugs to you it must be very stressful for you, can you visit yet? Do keep in touch with the consultant and make sure the hospitals talk to each other if he is not back in the one he had his surgery at.

Hope Pete is feeling better and hospital care has given him relief and doctor has his issues under control ie infection snd eating difficulties.
