Update on pete

Hi all you lovely caring people update on pete is he is still nill by mouth and he has still got infections and he's still got the hole but much better in his self he is just having sips of water no food yet but having a scan this week again and hopefully he will be able to start with food soon he is up and out of bed almost every day getting himself to shower I took his wheelchair in and he can now get himself about a bit not that hes aloud to but he can go to shower and back he has had 3 covid tests so far all ok suppose they have to keep checking him for it but I finely think he is now on the right track thank you all for reading my post hope you are all well and safe x

Valerie, I'm thinking of you and Pete, hoping he makes good progress. Have you got someone you can talk to yourself? My neighbour was wonderful to me when my R was in hospital.

Yes I have a very good friend I talk to every day about pete her husband is a good friend of my husband aswell x

So pleased to hear he is improving he must feel a lot better being able to have a shower. It was seven weeks before I could have one and it was a huge step towards normality. I wish you the best of luck
