Hello All, I have been diagnosed with lymphocytic esophagitis, it’s rare and little is known about it. Does anyone else have this diagnosis? Information is so limited.

Lymphocytic Esophagitis
I'm really sorry you've been doing with LE for so long. I hope you're doing better at this time. I was diagnosed via biopsy with LE in April 2024 following my first EGD w/Dilation. Have had 2 more since, however they haven't resolved my Dysphagia. Treatments have included stopping long-term Omeprazole and starting 40mg Pantoprazole 2/day and Hyoscyamine 0.125 3/day before meals. Still experience difficulty swallowing. Dairy is a trigger. Eliminating caffeine, chewy or crusty foods, most meats. Eating much smaller meals, and have to mush many foods, and cut everything into very small pieces and chew very well. It's certainly a life-changing diagnosis. I've always been a foodie, and being restricted is difficult. Small meals, sips of water, no caffeine, not laying down for at least 3 hrs. after eating, elevated sleeping. I'm sorry you've been suffering with LE so long. Truly hope you're doing better by now.
