Pain in side/back

My husband is nearly 8 months post Ivor Lewis and recently started having pain in his side/back below ribs. This mostly occurs when laying down. Dr said it’s muscular and if he takes paracetamol it goes away. Not there when up and moving about and 2 paracetamol usually stops the pain. Anybody else experienced this?

Hi , I would phone his oncology nurse and explain to her the symptoms your husband is having and she will make the appropriate appointment to see the Hospital Dr . Do not leave it please , better to be save than sorry . Take care .
