Dilated bile duct

Hi guys has anyone ever been diagnosed with he above but never had a real reason for it ?

I’ve had a horrible gnawing stomach feeling for ages now ( already have Barrett’s) they’ve done usual tests MRI CT and U/s . I’m on PPi’s but things not improving in fact worsening so now awaiting an urgent Endoscopy. As my husband Tony is 15 months post IL I’m naturally bloody anxious but petrified of having a Endoscopy!

Keep thinking of everything it could be and trying not to go overboard!

Hi Debbie. Waiting is always the worst time. Make sure you have sedation for the endescopy then they can have a good look, 8 years on I wouldn’t ever just do the spray. Never heard of the dialated bile duct. Have you found any good tips for bile reflux, the best I have found so far is thick youghurt at homemade lemon posset good luck I have my fingers crossed for you hugs Lizzy xxxxx

Hi have you got a gall bladder still ? It could be gallstones if you have. I’m sure you will get to the route of the problem try not to think the worse.

Debbie, with 'sedation,' you will simply 'sleep' through the endoscopic procedure. I have had at least 5 of them. Try not to stress yourself out. You go to sleep, and when you wake up the test is done.

Booked in for Dec 19th ....won’t get results before Xmas but I’m not going to let it spoil it by jumping to conclusions !
