Hi, is there any research on the effect of chemotherapy on long term immunity?

Are previous immunisations still effective post chemo?

I do not know the answer to your question, but I think it might just depend on what you would or would not be immune from? So you might, for instance, retain immunity from German measles, but need to re-build up resistance against general infections? It might be the case that individuals can be different in their reactions to chemotherapy. So if you are concerned about a particular immunisation because you are intending to travel abroad, it would be best to re-check those issues with your GP, and they would consider repeating the jab?
