I have reached the first anniversary of my Ivor Lewis op to remove a small benign GIST. Although the retching has subsided greatly, for some reason I have now developed nausea almost every time I eat or drink. On most occasions it is relieved by eventual burping but it really makes me think twice about eating/drinking.
I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if so, how did you resolve it.
Thanks for your attention.

No idea if it will help, but a Windsettler shortly after your meal 'might' help speed up the burping and hopefully relieve the nausea more quickly. There are two varieties, chewable tablets or capsules, I think the capsules are better but they're both good so may be worth a try. Hope you find something that works for you.
Hi sometimes we can get psycological problems with eating after our treatment which eventually goes. If food isnt going down and you have to bring it up phone hospital and get an appt. There are tablets for anti sickness your gp can prescribe. I also use gin gins chewable ginger from Holland and Barret that help.
