Hi I am 2 .5 years post Ivor lewis and find myself short of breath especially after eating i am also having hot flushes despite being 67 and well past the menopause. I had a clear CT scan December last year and a clear chest x-ray this February. I would be interested to know if anyone experienced these symptoms?

Thanks for your reply I have been diagnosed with mild COPD but this was under control until the Ivor Lewis.

Me too. And I find that after eating I am wheezy. Probably eating too much in one go but some foods are worse than others. My op was July 2017. I already had controlled asthma. i.e. I used a preventer once a day.

You need to remember, your stomach is now in your chest. This reduces you lung capacity. After eating, your stomach is enlarged.
