I am thrilled - the surgery has made my type 1 diabetes brittle but I am still here and am a mother of two young children who are 6 and 7 :)

Well done Aoife ! Having children is a whole challenge on it's own - having them with a messed up digestive system and brittle diabetes raises it to a whole new level .
