I have supplemented before breakfast 20 mg Omeprazole with level teaspoon bicarb soda before going to bed. This has helped with previous waking in the night with a horrible bitter taste. Happy new year all round. Pat

Some people also use Gaviscon Advance at night to help with reflux.

The bicarb seems to be working, is there any reason why I should not rely on that whilst it works. Thank you. Pat

Why do you take bicab soda, not a good idea, check with your doctor.

Was in Ireland where a 'natural' health advisor told me it would not affect my medication but a level teaspoon each night would help. Have not noticed any ill effects Pat
