Coughing when eating

Hi does anyone else cough when eating? I cough constantly when eating but I'm ok when I drink it's putting me off eating now I have spoken to my doctors but I was told it's something I will have to live with

As I've said in a previous post I could have coughed for England for the first 2/3 years. It reduced quite a lot over the next year or so and it became much less of an event. I hardly notice it now although I am 9 years post op. In my case it was easily aggravated by talking too much. I found Strepsils quite useful.
