It doesn't sound serious, though it can be irritating, particularly if it's a tune you don't like! Most people have this, though it's possible it could be more prevalent amongst people with OCD. I listened to an opera by Mozart on the radio more than two weeks ago, and I still have the tunes clattering about in my head! Fortunately I like Mozart!

They generally go after a bit.

I do this every day , it doesn't annoy me as i just say too myself" its because i have ocd that i do this" and move on in fact i sometimes laugh to myself . It is only the OCD so don't worry , i am 46 yrs old so might be older than you , but you do get used to it , it doesn't make you strange or going mad .

I have a similar issue. I have this annoying song....the lullaby song that I hear throughout the day, especially when I'm alone. It all started when I was working the night shift as an RN at a job that I hated. I was being bullied at the time and I am guessing it was a way to manage the stress and anxiety. But, this was 2 years ago and I can't seem to stop the music! LOL
