Hi everyone,

My name is Dan, and I am a researcher at the University of Derby. I am currently running a study that aims to further understand the cognitive processes associated with pain. If you would like to take part in my research, which involves answering a series of questions relating to health and mood as well as completing a couple of computerised tasks, please click the link below:

By clicking this link, you will be provided with full instructions/details of the study, and then can make a more informed decision as to whether you'd like to take part. All your responses/data will be anonymised and kept strictly confidential. In total, the study should take no longer than 20-30 minutes. There is also a 1-month follow-up which will take no longer than 15 minutes.

As a thanks for your time, you will be offered the opportunity to be entered into a prize draw to win a £20 Amazon Voucher, as well as contributing valuable insight into the psychological processes associated with pain.

*Please do feel free to pass this link on, or distribute to anyone else you know that suffers with any form of pain*

Thank you!

Had you considered including polymyalgia rheumatica patients in this study - the quintessential chronic pain sufferers?
