Hi, just noticed your post.

Personally I find this site isn't very active, unfortunately.

But, I'm on another site called NRAS, which is a lot more active, where others have various forms of arthritis.

Me, I have osteoarthritis.

Maybe worth joining NRAS as well. It's a UK site, with members from all over the world.

May see you on there. 👍

Hi! I be just been diagnosed with both too.....inflammatory arthritis in my knees and OE in my hands.

Feel like I ve bit hit by a train, mentally.

Have you been prescribed any meds as yet?

I'm starting Methotrexate tomorrow which should address the RA side of my condition but Ive had no input from either hospital or GP re OE

How are you coping with the mental side of your diagnosis?

You're not alone 😌

I’m participating in a RA clinical research project currently. I’m just taking the research medications & prednisone. Now I’ve developed cataracts & atrial fibrillation in my heart. I continue to have problems with my left leg & was just at an orthopedic doctor who drain fluid & gave me a shot of cortisone in my hip. How are you doing on the methotrexate? I didn’t tolerate it at all.

Heavens, my heart goes out to you.

I start the Methotrexate tomo.....no idea what to expect. Trying to be positive 😌

How long have you been diagnosed with RA? Are the trial meds giving you any relief?

I started the trial meds 3 years ago & it was wonderful. I went into remission for 3-6 months. Pain started up against rheumatologist added prednisone. I see the cardiologist this month & he is scheduling a Cardio Ablation, once that is done I’ll get cataracts remover. I wish much success with the methotrexate. I know many RA suffers have had great results with little to no side effects. Just be sure to take folic acid with the MTX.

I have OA and Psoriatic Arthritis....I can never tell which one is killing me because my PSA attacks my tendons that attach to bones. Fun Fun times and nothing helps as Im sitting here typing this I can hardly walk...I want my health back. I'm on Cosentyx injection for PSA and Excedrin extra strength for OA.

I understand completely!!! I’m never sure if it’s RA or OA pain & I’m sure the doctors aren’t sure either.
