How much do you know about your own amazing nervous system?

Hi community,

As much as I love to write (currently sacredly scribing my second book) it's also great to chew the cud audio style. These days, in modern parlance we call it podcasting. However, you might easily also consider it simply hearing someone's voice and what resonance there might be in the words spoken. We listen with our whole being. For me, in my own experiences, it's been finding ways to continue to nurture and heal at the level of nervous system. To recognise psychological patterns, limiting beliefs and how things feel in all that vast complexity.

I truly hope you find something of value in this next episode - Understanding the different modes of the nervous system.

Making it relatable to your daily life. So not laden with jargon - infused with real life story and reminders to be kind and compassionate in your explorations! It's deep work...

The episode also speaks to the activating and pacifying components of the breath and how that ties in with the nervous system. Linking it in with the 3 key functions of the brain: learning, regulation and selection. And yes, this is all yoga! Yoga is not just movement. It is breath, movement in embodied ways, feeling and deep self enquiry. All these components dance and weave together to create change -transformation. This is why it's so helpful to understand your own cellular conversations more. From how you feel.

Such a vast and fascinating arena to explore. Most importantly you are the adventurer of your own inner journeys.

Sit back, with a. cup of tea or maybe in the bath and let's talk!
