Hi All - Dr Jason Fung, a nephrologist working specifically with weight and diabetes issues, is sharing some great wisdom and I highly recommend you tune into him. He, like myself, is a strong advocate of intermittent fasting. For the body to trigger what's called 'autophagy', we need to give it a rest from food. This allows the body to then basically 'clean house'. As I say - 'Eat well (real food), fast well'. You will feel the benefits. Finding tools also to come away from sabotaging mental constructs is also key - yoga and meditation are excellent and what I enjoy but explore what works for you that brings you back to the essence of who you really are rather than the machinations of the mind.
