Autophagy is what we all need! It is essentially a term for the body's capacity to clean house. It is triggered very well through fasting - so this means abstinence from anything that will create a digestive event which is all food and liquid aside from water. The best way to start is to give yourself a daily 12 hour fasting window, so for example you have supper at 7 p.m, the earliest you have breakfast the next day, is 7 a.m. This gives you a clear 12 hours. You can of course go longer if it suits your needs and your health. However you eat, this is one thing that we can all do. Give your body the chance to self clean and attend to cellular health.
