Hi yes I claimed ESA 18 mths ago had a medical by ATOS after the 13 wks and placed in WRAG (for 6mth), which meant I had to attend 6 work focused interviews.

Luckily I knew the jobcentre advisor as I'd met with him prior and through work, the interview was a waste of his and my time. It was simply him going through my benefits, asking what work I felt I could do and what support I'd need in the workplace. It's nothing to worry about.

Some 10mths later I was sent the forms to fill in again and placed in the Support Group.

Please don't worry, it's not to bad and you'll have a benefit assessment to ensure your claiming the right benefits.

Your welcome, the only thing I'd add is; Arm yourself with information about your condition, medications you take, the support and aids available and why they would/wouldn't work for you in a workplace.

Also, any problems you feel you'd have in any workplace, he/she would have done disability awareness training but probably still won't have a clue.

Good luck hope all goes well for you too. xxx
