Methotrex-ACHE, need I say more?
I'm sorry i don't know the answer to that one. I am just sending you my love and hope you feel brighter this morning. xx
I dont have injections im on Tablets sorry and i feel ok
Hello ! I have had methotrexate through injection and in tablet form. I hated having the injection because it made me feel awful and it gave me a bot of a dead arm for a few days. I agree with you about the feeling of the medicine through your veins and its not very nice at all ! I always just try and find something else to do so that it keeps my mind off it.
Hope that helps a bit.

I have been on the MTX injections for 3 years and have never experienced what you describe! My injection goes into my midriff which I was told by the practice nurse at the surgery was the best place to put it. I have never tried my arm or anywhere else and have had no problems except for slight bruising if I have been over enthiusiastic with the needle!
Suggest you try a different site for the injection and see how you get on.

I'm afraid y'all have taken me a bit too literally. It's not the injection itself that hurts. My whole body aches the next day and my joints burn like crazy.
I've did the pills before and they were horrible... hair loss, naseaua, and the dreaded ache.
The MTX injection are best, work better at a lower dosage, and they are unbelievably cheap (less expensive)
Try the top of your thigh, much more barable, easy to do, no pain at all. I couldn't take the tablets, was up to 10 of them and still wasn't getting the effect I have with 0.3 ml injectable. Good luck, be sure to drink extra water and tea, etc the day of the injection, as it is cleared through your kidneys. Otherwise you can become toxic and that might be why you are feeling so awful.
