Sorry can not find out how to direct message someone hence posting this question. Back in early July or maybe June you asked a question about Nightmares (to which I replied); I'm now in the same position. MTX was increased to full dose (20mg) about eight weeks ago (I think) and for the last approx six weeks I've been having the most horrid nightmares. So my question is did you stop having your nightmares or are you still getting them? Mine are so bad my poor hubby is having to try and wake me up.

Hi Mel. Poor you. I don't get nightmares with the MTX but sometimes get really vivid dreams and wake up thinking I am still part of the dream. Very weird. Don't know whether it is the MTX or not. I am on 15mg. For sending messages, click on the messages icon at the top of the page which will open up a new page, it will ask who you want to message, put in wiliby's name (or any other), type your message and then send. You will get replies in your message box and the message icon will tell you when a message comes in.
Hope that helps. LavendarLady xx
Mel,
Just to add my technical input too...
LavendarLady has given you one solution for messaging people. You can also click on someone's username (find them in the Directory -which you can search A-Z - or from any of their blogs, questions and comments). This will open up their profile and under their picture you can click on "Send me a message" and it will open up the direct message box.
Hope you get some help with those nightmares.
Katie
Thank you Katie your reply is much appriciated. Kind regards Mel
Hi Mel,
Poor you, thankfully mine isn't so bad but I'm pretty sure it was linked to the Tramadol I was taking, have stopped it now and nightmares are few and not so frightening...
I did ring my RA nurse at the time who then spoke to my consultant, his response was to return to the 15mg dose of MTX (I was on 25mg) but whether that was because I was due to start Enbrel or because he was concerned about the nightmares I'm not sure, if I were you I'd ring your nurse just incase.
What pain relief do you use? (and while I am it, how are you keeping now?)
It is horrible, these nightmares leave you feeling quite out of sorts don't they.

Not mtx. - tramadol - I was told by my GP that I may suffer nightmares while taking tramadol. I must be one of the lucky ones, haven't experienced any. (Mind you the pain I was taking them for was really bad and disturbing my sleep I could just be cream crackered)
My mtx. is a low dose - only 7mg - which may be why I haven't noticed any nightmares
Hope you get it sorted xxxx
