Hi lulul. In addition to the MTX and Enbrel, I take Nurofen gel capsules (200mg) but can increase to 400mg as per consultant + 1000mg of paracetemol. I cannot take anything which has a morphine background i.e. codeine of any description, as I am allergic to morphine. Seeing my GP tomorrow to discuss pain management in more detail and a referral to the pain clinic at the hospital if necessary. LavendarLady xx

My cocktail cabinet has plain paracetemol, paracetemol+aspirin+caffeine, and paracetemol + codeine, also same sort of mixes with ibuprofen. I tend to try to stick to the ones from supermarket as so much cheaper. Also have other NSAIDs, which I guess have a bit of pain relieving effect. And then the wheat pillows and icepacks.

Do you know about prepaid prescription. the outlay is about £100. I've saved a fortune over the years. I have about 6 lots a month. I think i've saved about £600 over the year.

If you are interested in checking the details about medicines, check the following site:

The operations to replace my shoulders and left elbow, and fuse my left wrist have been fantastic in completely stopping the pain. I just now need the rest to be done.

I hope that you are sorted out very soon.
