A big THANK YOU to all you lovely Forum Members - for all your caring, love and hugs. It means all the world to us!
Is it strange to say that DH is excited!?! . . . He is having his lower right leg amputated on Friday morning. Excited??? Yes, finally after recovery, there will be no pain anymore. We were at drs and hosp today for 5hrs. First DrBotha the orthopedic surgeon and another Dr. (vein dr) for his opinion then to admissions office.Drs were so happy to see that Dh has already made up his mind - sort of easier for them to help him.
That's my news for this late afternoon - we are getting ready for supper (bought a fried chicken on our way home from drs) still have a few things to see to before Dh is admitted to hosp. And a wonderful man with the name of PETER MORRIS (78yrs) is coming tomorrow morning (also an amputee) to help DH put up some grab rails next to his bed and in the bathroom. He is our supporter (and a man of God) and I can only thank INTERNET for finding this man. Otherwise we would have been LOST.
Thank you again, dear RA friends! for all your well wishes.
DW
thinking of you, Big hugs to you both,:)xx
