Is there anyone that suffer(ed) of professional discrimination because RA?

Why do we still have to pay for our prescriptions? At the counter or pre-paid certificates, we have to.?

Does anyone know a good dentist that know how to deal with people that is on methotrexate?

Back to the dentist, all good dentists/orthodontists should be aware of the side effects of any drugs you take including MTX, I know mine is and he checks my medication list with me each time I go.

all dentists should be able to deal with patients on methotrxate.. similar drugs and or steroids.. they just need to be told what you are taking

discrimination happens at all levels work and private... pleased to report that my brain is fully functional though..

I agree check out Alison's blog on paying for prescriptions and see everyone's comments.

As for the dentist all dentists should know all about your meds if not they shouldnt be doing there job!

Why not give nhs direct a call to help you if finding a new nhs dentist in your area on 0845 4647.

get a pre paid yearly card works out a lot cheaper. i recently applied for a job and the companys occupational health phoned me a few weeks later and asked me if i was deformed in any way with my ra i dint answer i was that shocked at getting a phone call like this
