periodontal treatment

Hi The rheumy nurse got back and said to stop Baricitinib 7 days before periodontal treatment-she looked it up. The specialist said to stay off for 7 days after treatment because if infection risk.

Has anyone on here has this treatment- it’s a deep clean and whereby the teeth that have pockets they go down and clean around the roots.

The specialist said you then go back a couple of months later to see how it’s worked -supposedly will allow me to keep teeth longer as I have gum disease.

By the way -I did try adding email to contacts but everything from Healthunlocked still going into junk 😂

thank you xx

Yes I had it, I'm on MTX and didn't stop it as didn't even think of it but had no problems.
