I had the Spikevax a few weeks ago. The side effects I had were bad nausea, bad joint pains, hot, sweaty and flushed. This is the worse one I've had since the initial Astra Zenica which also made me feel quite ill for a few days afterwards. Hope the sneezing disappears soon.

the pollen count is really high at the moment, I’m sneezing all the time so maybe it’s that not the vaccine?

just a sore arm. Might be hayfever?

Its is the only vaccination that I have had that mad me ill. Extreme tiredness, low mood, very hot and a general very unpleasant feeling. I was very pro vaccination but not sure if I will take the winter one if its offered.

It is reassuring to know that I am not the only one! I found it hard to describe the feeling that went on for a couple of weeks of just wanting to crawl back into bed after breakfast every day. Your description is spot on. Fortunately it has faded now and I am hoping that I don't have a similar reaction to the Shingrix I had on Friday. So far just a sore arm so probably OK.

My reaction has also thankfully faded. A friend who is not one to over react said she thought she was dying she was so ill.

I hope you improve soon. I heard online that the next one will be a combination flu, and covid one so no choice seems to be on the horizon about having a single flu vaccination

Ok now thank you. I am not going to have the Autumn vaccination. To much of a blast on my system in one go

Fortunately I felt unwell for 1.5 days after jab. I wasn't going to bother but after a talking to by a nurse who reminded me that as I was immune suppressed I should seriously consider it. So I went ahead and did.

Just a sore arm but I can't say it's helped. I've just had covid for ten days and was stuck in bed for 5 days. I'm hoping I'm clear today so that I can start meds again.

I had a Moderna vaccine in 2022 and it triggered a big flare up of RA symptoms which went in for nearly a month so having thought about it long and hard and discussed it with the doc I decided not to have it this time,Apart from the first one the others have been Pfizer and I’ve had no reaction at all.I tried to find somewhere who was offering Pfizer but no luck.Hoping that it may be on offer in the autum otherwise not sure what to do.I did find a chemist mikes away who was offering Pfizer for £85 a shot so maybe I’ll have to go down that route.🙄

There should be automatic an alternative given if allergies I had no prob with Pfizer as well take care

Thankyou for replying. That’s really interesting. The vaccine centre I went to and my surgery said that they only had Moderna and that Pfizer was definately not available there. Were you automatically offered Pfizer and was this at your surgery or vaccine centre.

Had Moderna. Not my favourite as it's the only one that kicks up a fuss. Day and half feeling below par with slight sore arm. That was all

I had the Spikevax over a month ago.

I’ve been very dizzy,my rheumatoid athritis was painful.

I havent been able to d my usual exercise,I think its really set me back.

I don’t think I will accept Spikevax again
