Neuropathy and RA

I'm being referred for nerve mapping by my consultant due to odd sensations in my middle finger and the side of my ring finger. Has any one else had this done? If neuropathy is diagnosed are there any treatments? I've been tested for diabetes and B12, both fine, so assume RA is the cause, but welcome any other suggestions.

Thank you

I was diagnosed with Small Fiber Neuropathy due to strange feelings in my fingers/hands, toes/feet. I couldn’t handle light sensations. If I pressed harder, it was fine, but the light touches felt like worms in my skin. It was awful. I started taking pregambaline (not sure of the brand names), and that definitely helped a lot. Good luck!

yes I have this and nerve tests . I’m on pregablin. Drugs can cause it as well as inflammatory arthritis swelling can damage nerves.
