Just realised I took folic acid and did MTX jab yesterday evening. Can't undo obviously but should I skip folic today? What effect will this mistake have?

Probably no ill effects whatsoever. I suspect most of us on here have done the same thing with few or no problems. It would be better if we didn't make a habit of it though.

I think it just means the methotrexate will be marginally less effective. On the plus side fewer side effects

I've done it with no consequence. I guess at worst it would be like missing a dose of MTX which I've also done with minimal consequence when the supply got delayed.

in the US they take folic acid every day and I’ve done as you have before ( I won’t say how many times 😂) with no consequence.

Thanks everyone. First time l have been aware of doing this a s was struggling to get through to nurse advice line. You put my mind at rest. Eventually spoke to a nurse who said it is not advisable but will just work against the MTX so it might be a little less effective .

I did this once too, apparently the MTX doesn't work as effectively.
